Pg & VG Ratio • How should I store my ejuice?
What is the ratio of propylene glycol and glycerin used in our eliquids?
We offer blends of 70% PG with 30% VG, 50% PG with 50% VG and 30% PG with 70% VG. Our standard blend is 70/30. We feel it provides the best throat hit, flavor and vapor production.
PG will allow the flavor to come thru more while providing increased throat sensation. However it produces less vapor than VG.
VG will produce more vapor and is slightly sweeter than PG. But it can mute or dampen flavor and provide less throat sensation.
How should I store eliquid?
Indoor ambient temperatures are just fine. We recommend storing your eliquid bottles in a high cabinet out of the reach of children and pets. Do not store your eliquid in direct sun light.
Shake your bottle before each use?
When your bottle(s) arrive please make sure to shake them for a few moments prior to use. Its a good idea to do this each time prior to using your eliquids. It will help prevent flavor separation and ensure all components are evenly mixed when dispensing.
What about steeping?
This is purely personal preference. Most of our ejuice blends are intended to be enjoyed right away. But depending on your taste, you may choose to steep your eliquid. Canyonbacco flavors can be richer tasting with sharp notes decreasing while the body increases for example. Menthols and mints that may be too strong can become more tame after steeping.
There are many methods to steep eliquid but we prefer some of the simple methods. Such as opening the bottle once each day to allow it to breathe for several minutes. Re-cap and shake the bottle. Doing this once each day, for 3-5 days can produce good results. Always store in a cool dark place.
Again this is your personal preference, that you will develop.
How does Subohm vaping and tanks effect my juice?
Generally when subohming whether you are dripping into an RDA or using a Subohm tank such as the Atlantis, you will get hotter coils producing more throat hit and vapor.
Because your vapor is hotter, higher levels of PG will produce more throat hit. As an example an 18mg in 70/30 will be much more harsh on your throat.
How should I compensate when my eliquid seems too harsh or there is too much throat hit?
Using a higher level of VG or lowering your PG level will solve this problem for most people. We recommend at least a 50/50 ratio of PG and VG. Higher ratios of VG will be smoother.
What is a "Sweet Shot"?
A Sweet Shot adds a little more sweetness to an eliquid without changing it drastically. Offsetting any sour or tangy notes with more of a naturally sweet flavor.
This option is not available on Sample Packs as we feel you should try the flavor as intended.
Consult your physician if you have an allergy or medical condition that may prevent you from using artificially flavored sweeteners.
